Just wanted to post pics of my new Pink-eyed Zoo's and feather duster worms.....have a question though...all seems to be well with the zoos...but a couple of them have not opened, almost look dead (although not sure what exactly that would look like) If I feel they are dead, would it be a good idea to remove them, perhaps with some tweezers? Can anyone tell me the warning signs of if they are "on their way out?"

    Thanks a bunch!

billrwilson if your talking about dancin_trancy pics. Those would be plastic corals... they are fake.

They are NOT fake!!! They are synthetic, FAUX coral if you will! Hehehehe! Just messin around!

Ya, wish they were real, hopefully, as I begin to aquire more colorful corals, Ill start to remove the SYNTHETICS...just wanted some color in the tank until then! But let me tell ya, they are very low maintenance! :) hehehe

Yes, I love those suns, they are beautiful! Also like the pink ones, very nice color! Have to find me some of those! :) Thanks for the pics Manny!

Are you target feeding the sun's? They are beautiful, however you have to target feed them for you to have success. They don't require bright light either.
As for your button polyps, sometimes something makes them unhappy, ie. neighboring coral, water parameters, light especially if the light and water adjustments are done to fast. You may want to wait a couple days to see if they open up. If they don't, try to target feed them with brine shrimp to entice them to open up.
