New Growth

I've noticed these things on one piece of live rock every day there are a few more and the older ones are getting bigger. They are fleshy and purple to a pink some are round with little pimples on them. Some look like little moose antlers. I saw a crab crawl over one today and I thought the crab would snap it off the rock. But it gave with the crab and returned to it's spot. It seemed to turn paler when the crab bent it flushing again with color after it settled what coul this be?!!!!here is a pic but the camera can't get a good shot of some thing so small. I'll get another pic from farther away also. Maybe that'll be better to see the detail

The circled spot is a big clump of these wierd things I don't know what they are? They are small so that is the best pic I could get with my camera that pic was taken with the close up option on!! My wife noticed last night what she thought was a clump of sand stuck on the glass but upon further inspection we found out it is a starfish it is missing two legs even with those two it's missing it would only be as big as a dime but I didn't put it in there musta came in on live rock or live sand cool to see though! It is grey almost white and the ends of it's legs are rounded not pointy COOL [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

the pic is blurry but if you found out its a mini star gratz but they multiply like crazy. i have little white ones and mini brittle stars you gotta look but there all over the place they clean up left over foods nicely though

 

The pic is of some crazy stuff growing on my live rock I tried to get a better pic but this camera stinks (no zoom which is what I need but any way here is another pic it a little farther away but you can make this stuff out a little better plus it is bigger also, so that helps alot! the stuff circled in black is one varity it lokks like a small antler the one circled in red is a different kind stays smaller and is a darker color with little pimples all over it
What is it? Is it some form of algea? The texture looks like clam mantle ya' know fleshy.
