New Growth

So are these star's O.k. to have in a reef tank because every morning I see more and more of these stars Will they multiply into plague proportions? Or eat something that I would rather keep? Someone please help with this!

 

It's al good! If they are breeding, tank is healthy. Those little gutys don't eat much!

 

I have heard they are quite prolific and need to be controlled. I would get ride of as many as you can. Maybe banish them to the sump

I believe it is a asteria star here's a pic with a magnifying glass. from my tank .
Now are they safe in a reef tank they seems to eat my Coraline algae but it grows faster than they eat it but there seems to be more and more of them all the time will they over populate has any one else got these in there tank?

 

I've got them and so far no problem.
