    Off craigslist I just got 2x double ended 250 watt metal halide pendants with a dual 250 watt sunlight co. ballast, would I be a terrible person If I bought aquatraders halide bulbs to go with the fixture? I'm already pushing my budget as it is and i'm not sure if I can buy $140 worth of light bulbs.

    The reflectors look like they would definitely help the aquatraders bulbs. (I saw them on your other thread) I have used the aquatrader bulbs when I have been low on dough and they are just okay. They look real good at first then fade pretty quick. Don't last near as long as a name brand bulb. If you need something quick these bulbs would do until you can save some money. The site m2434 linked looked worth a try as well.
