    Hello. I have been into saltwater fish keeping for quite sometime. I recently bought a 28 gallon nano cube HQI with the intention of starting a reef tank. I hope to learn lots and help if I can. My tank has been set up for about a month now and is currently cycling. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

    Hi garyad, welcome to 3reef! It is always refreshing to have someone become part of 3reef and is willing to offer their help right of the bat as you stated in your post.
    Your experience in the marine hobby will be beneficial...
    Good luck with your new tank and yes...pictures are a very important thing here on 3reef as you will soon notice.
    I am willing to bet that most of us, as a child up to the present, look for books that have mostly pictures and few words! Hahahha
    This may have led up to this obsession here at 3reef!
    But then again, a picture is worth a 1000 words!

    LOL. I understand pics are required. I'll get around to it ASAP. Right now not much to see. Been battling a case of hair algae. It seems to be subsiding, all water parameters are good.
