    1 looks like it could be a Tunicate / sea squirt

    2 looks like its time for me to get my prescription renewed - I can see anything other than coralline

    All I have is the camera on my phone so its kind of hard to get the focus right. I'll try and take some better pics later tonight.

    Looks great. I agree it looks like the stock lights that come with the tank. If so, these wont be sufficient for corals. Not sure about the evaporation rate. If you have low humidity where you live, then yes it will evaporate faster.

    Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! ;D This is my first attempt at anything saltwater so I'm sure I will need all the advice I can get. The next big step I am taking is adding a T5 light which I'm supposed to be able to go pick up tomorrow. I'll be sure to update and post pics.
