    They used to use pigs for truffles but they would try to eat it before the handler could get there. Now they use dogs and they are happy to get just a treat.

    I do gather Oregon white truffles in the winter but they dont "stink" enough for pigs or dogs so you just have to rake in a likely place. You can google the "Oregon white truffle" and find everything about them except exactly where to find them.

    Welcome to the reef. Although I have a salt water tank, I also enjoy the fresh water tanks.

    Your life does not sound boring to me. Send along some of those mushrooms. Maybe they wouldn't allow them past the Canadian border.

    For a quick second I thought you were hunting for Morays(hahahahah...LOL), but their aren't any in the Oregon area, I don't think.
