New Here!

Hello everyone. My name is Kendall and I have been into this hobby for about 5 months or so. My girlfriend actually was big into freshwater tanks, and after helping her setup her 75 gallon, and with the help of my uncle who owns his own business, I decided to grab a 55 gallon to try out as my first saltwater tank.

I heard all of the horror stories about how saltwater is so hard to maintain and everything, but it didn't seem too bad for me. The tank was going great and I made the mistake of buying a fish from a LFS instead of my uncle and it pretty much wiped out my tank except for a yellow watchman goby, a wrasse, and a coral beauty.

Ever since I setup the 55 gallon I wanted a bigger one (the stories held me back) but I decided to give it a shot, and actually my uncle was selling his 120 gallon setup so I bought it from him. That is my first sump setup and the tank is currently being cycled.

Well, thats a little about me. I will be posting pictures under the share your tank thread of both my 55 and 120 tanks. I plan on making my 120 a reef tank and changing over my 55 to a FOWLR. Stay tuned for pictures!
