Looks like a Nudi of some sorts. Being that there are so many kinds that are bad, I would pull them just to be safe.

    nudibranch cool find.
if its a FO tank feel free to leave it alone, if its a reef tank catch and put it in your fuge or take it up to your lfs and get them to give it away to a fo tank.

Darn, I was hoping that no one would say that. I already picked it out and washed it down the sink. I would have put it in the sump but I initially thought it would've been a threat to my fish. It was colorful and cool looking thats why I wanted to keep it. Oh well. Hopefully I find another one. I usually get stuff from the ocean so I hope another one catches a ride with me;)

I googled it and I think it may have been a "white-stripped nudibranch"

Unfortunately there are 3,000 different species of nudibranches. Some of them are harmless, while many others will eat things like sponges, tunicates, barnacles, etc. One thing is fact however- they are all carnivorous! So why take the chance, even if it is a FOWLR- you might just get the most destructive kind that ends up eating all those other beautiful hitchikers in your tank.

Very true. Within the next couple weeks I plan to get some corals for this tank so I wouldn't want a nudi to cause any probs. I only have one undulate trigger in that tank. He was a Christmas Gift from the man who taught me a lot about the salt water world and I wouldn't want to put his life in jeopardy;)
