    i just got some rock rubbles for my fuge last night and i saw these (4) white spot on the glass today, so i use my flash light to see what they are...then they started to move like a slug...what are they?

    also, i've got some amphipods that are red color, i always thought they were clear or transparent. am i color blinded???

    i would of said flatworms but you mentioned they are white in color, so i'm not too sure. flatworms do move rather slowly across glass, almost "slug like"...where pods tend to move and scatter rather quickly. i have also seen other color variations of pods, it would definitely help if you could post a macro picture or a picture off the web of what you are describing. hth.

    Flatworms do come in white Jonathan. I added a red amphipod to my tank. It might be of another species but closely related to the amphipod. ;D I think you're gonna need a better description or a picture to help ID the critter.

    i think they are flatworms, too. but the thing is that they are 'flat' only when they are moving, they stick on the glass like a ball shape when staying still. if they are flatworms, are they safe for reef or FOWLR?

    also, i am curing a fiji rock and when i took it out today to see if it's ready...i saw a transparent worms with thin black bands. could that be a blistle worms?
