    Sweet idea. It will be interesting to see if one of the big manufacturers, like Phillips, buys them out to get their tech, or whether they have competing tech in the works.

    I really like how it's "value added" for home LED conversion. Energy savings alone don't always justify the cost of the bulbs unless they are in always on applications.

    That is cool, I could really use that. I'm always messing with the thermostats. And programming mines is a pain, I have a fairly old one. That price doesn't seem too bad if it saves me money every month too.

    Am I looking at that website correctly in that he has been given over a million dollars for this invention so far?
    Not sure if that's what it means or if people have just "pledged" to give him that amount of money and he hasn't actually received that amount
