New Imperator and Puffer

    After much research, debate, and searching I have found my fish! Picked up a baby Imperator angel and puffer. Both ate withing 24 hours of purchase and are doin good so far. Heres some pics, The baby puffer is in quarentine hence the 5 gal hex.

    that imperator will change as a juvenile and it will become one fantastic looking fish. good choice! the puffer will remain...ugly...;)

    I guess im an eye guy, as i find the eyes of puffers to be by far the best looking and most inquisitive compared to the seemingly vacant stare most fish give. They learn to spit water for treats quickly! I cant wait to see the adult colors in my angel. They actually used to think juvenile imperators (and a few others in the genus pomacanthus) and adults were different species due to the crazy contrast between juv. and adult colors.

    I don't think any of God's creatures are ugly! With the possible exception of the american opposum.... :-/

    My daughter (6 yrs old) says the puffers look like "Timmy Turner" from the " 'Fairly OddParents' cartoon (those of you with kids, know what I mean!)

    Puffers are definitely one of the Lee twins, either Ugly or Homely!

    :eek:!!!!! I think he heard you.....he just started spitting at the lid...lol. I guess it all in the eyes of the aquarist.
