ok well i have finally added new fish to my tank and everythings been looking great.

    i started with 4 blue/green chromis.

i now added 3- percular clownfish, 1 yellow tank, 1 coral brand shrimp and 1 cleaner shrimp.

i have 60lbs of live sand and 25lbs of live rock in a 55 gallon tank.

i was wondering what would be some more great fish/inverts to add to the tank. i like bright colorful fish that like to be out and about. what do you guys think that will fit that descripition and would soot life in my tank with its fellow fish.

i personaly want a hippo tang and a fire angel

It sounds like it would be overstocked, tangs grow pretty large and require much space. I'm not sure how your rockwork is organized, but I'd recommend arranging it to allow more swimming room for the tangs.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It sounds as though you added quite a few fish at one time. This can cause stress to the fish and system secondary to over crowding and adding too many fish at one time. You may start to see some of the more common fish diseases start to rear their ugly head.

I would wait for a couple of weeks before adding any more fish and monitor parameters such as ammonia and nitrate to ensure you system is handling the current new additions.

You are going to run into problems having a hippo tang and another tang in a 55 gal tank IMO.

the yellow tang is gunna out grow the 55 and you already have 8 fish in a 55g so ur already over stocked. if you ever get rid of some fish then you can try to get a dwarf flame angel but a blue hippo tang will definatley out grow the tank. you can try a wrasse of some sort like a flasher wrasse, sixline wrasse also maybe a goby of some sort. but your already overstocked and i would get rid of 3-4 fish before you add anymore
