Not too bad for the specs. Of course that depends on how much you got it for. Im a desktop guy unfortunately. Ive broken too many laptops to trust myself with another one haha

Boy that is a good deal. I paid $1500 in 1994 for a USED Generic brand 486DX , 16 MB (most had 4MB back then) Ram, 100 MB hard drive and a 512K video card, 14" CRT monitor and 1X External CD drive. Funny how some things are so cheap now days.

 

Congrats.. Though I'm not too fond of Acer for notebooks. Yes, you can go almost anywhere. Fed buildings, Nuke plants, etc.. lol... ;D Just kidding..

Well i am a desktop guy myself. Ive owned so many and Preferred Emachines since my first tower.I loved the amd athlon processors, and would prefre one over any other processor anyday.
Only thing that turned me onto this laptop is because its amd athlon, I played around with it and got to admit i was really impressed. I had however doubted Acers brand name for the past several years. Never heard of them, I didnt want anything to do with them either. Then i found out that Acer was produced by the same company that makes Emachines. I belive this is Gatway. Correct me if im wrong. But yea, im satisfied with this purchase. If anyone is intrested i do have 2 Emachine desktop towers for sale now.
1 was my main pc, its got acrylic glass window in the side panel with green led fan.
Will get specs for anyone who is intrested.
Other Emachine i purchased for wife, and we NEVER used it.
So its brand new (about 2years old) but still not used.
If anyone is intrested in either one you may pm me.
i am asking $125 for both or $75 apiece. Like i stated i dont know model numbers of the top of my head but will get them for you with all the spec's if your intrested
