also has not data on the types of LEDs, spectrographs or detailed PAR info. Only gives one value for Actinic LED's at an unspecified distance with an unspecified optical modification.

I am thus far skeptical at best.

My LFS has 2 hanging over there acans tank, I'm not sure the wattage but they do a really good job and the have them very high due to a shallow tank but it u have a standard tank I'd put it about 1 ft off the tank or shorter

the only two things I see that I'm not sure about is that it's a 1:1 on blue to white and most all the other lights are doing more blue that white and I don't believe that 7 square feet coverage. From what I've read coverage is the hardest thing for leds to get with good power, so I just find that hard to believe. I mean 7sqft is a tone of space.

Yeah 7 feet of spread seems like an egateration, and they do look strikingly similar to the cheap leds....oh well.
Can you tell me how many AI modules id need on a 12o?

1w leds in that fixture. The loose Cree led's that most DIY website sells are 3w.

I assume that is 120g, not 12g? just making sure, you'll probably melt your corals with an AI on a 12g

For a 120, assuming 4' you probably need 3 or 4. They have very focused optics, which is why they have such high par. You might want to check out the maxspec, or orpheks, I think 2 of these would work, and I think they are a bit less expensive. If you don't plan to keep many SPS, or only on the top, the panorama may work.

Of course DIY kits are the most cost effective.
