Ok so I just spend a ton of cash got my 2 new LED fixtures and dare I say I hate them? The color is way too blue with no red being in the mix sure my corals "POP" but all my yellow is nonexistent, even my yellow and purple coris wrasse isnt yellow anymore under the LED's. BTW they are 2 of theese units

So I was wondering how many of you have went back to MH after using LED's?

I do not know of anyone who went back to halides after having LEDs. It's unfortunate you feel this way. Can we get some photos of your tank with the lights over it?

BoostLED is a great sponsor of ours.

at work atm will post some pics tomorrow but they sent me 1 wrong unit so it looks odd 1 side looks violet while the other side looks blue they are sending the replacement unit. I'm not trying to say they "suck" or anything by all means im sure it's a great product, but personal preference the look just isnt the same as with halides

I can say that I agree with ya on the blue but I think thats why they started coming out with the more white and blue combos rather than less white and mire blue

and purple LOL but there are personal prefernces that some people prefer that is a huge investment for a color they dont prefer IME but overall I belive the leds are better than any other lighting system out there IME
