Sorry to hear that, I love my leds. I started out with two bricks before completely switching over just incase I didn't like it. But I loved them, so much I've got a diy kit in the mail as we speak. I'm hoping to put them together this weekend. If they turn out good I'm gonna order another kit. Mine are 50% white 50% blue. Best color I've ever seen in a aquarium imo. If yours still turns out to blue maybe you could order a all white strip like an actinic strip to add to the leds to get a brighter color. Let us know,

I have two of the MU135s and wouldnt DREAM of going back to MH.

The tank runs warm as it is with all of the equipment I have.

Running two MHs would not only be more expensive, less efficient, and not as good of a visual spectrum *at least to me*, and most importantly, I would have to buy a chiller.

So not only would the MH be more expensive to run/maintain by itself - but i would then have to buy a chiller - for a 120 gallon tank that would be the cost of another fixture!!!! So for a lot less money - I will stick to my MU135s. SPS coloring up/growing for several months now in there and doing well.

I have ran LEDs for a year and opted to go back to MH... I will not be going back to LED either.
Granted this is after a year of documenting both color and growth and comparing it to MH. I dont want to sound conceded but I dont know any other way to put this; I know a lot more than most when it comes to lighting.

I will absolutely use LED for actinic supplementation as they are AMAZING for that... but I will not use LEDs for growth. I suspect in a few years we will be able to get the spectrum right, but its not there yet.
