I actually think your light rack is perfect!

    Stable, cheap - adjustable!

As for the spectrum, would you consider further daylight LED suplementation in the 10K range? There are a lot of 4' LED sup. strips out there in many color combos.

That may get you to where you want.

Those LEDs will grow corals tho - and they will also burn sensitive corals with ease. Take caution.

yea the light rack cost me 7.48 total to make. And I like the color on the right side fixture, it's the 1 on the left that was bugging me out its way too blue in person( crappy camera) but they are sending me the correct unit for the left side

    BOOST has SUPREME cust. service.

They will make it right. Trust me.

In the meantime - tho you are not exactly where you want to be in terms of spectral output - your tank is looking great and your corals (and your wallet) will like the new lights!

The color I get from my LEDs is way better than the halides I used to have. I have two 60 watt panels over my 55 gallon tank. My all my corals including SPS and LPS are doing great. I prefer the way the LEDs illuminate my tank over the what the metal halides did. Not to mention the electrical savings and the fact my air conditioner is thanking me for not having these scolding hot bulbs burning in my living room anymore. It is no doubt they are the future of lighting. Companies will be clearing out their old inventory soon and you'll be able to get MH's dirt cheap. My LED fixtures were fairly priced, I got them at aquariumledsolutions.com.

I know what you mean Dingo, I feel the same. You really have to dig to find a good honest LED company, and even then most frag farmers I know put them on their displays but say growth sucks.
