    china leds x 2 16 bucks
china led non dimmable drivers x 2 8 bucks
    my happiness with them priceless

but if i was gonna do a bigger tank i would just do the 3w cree leds since they are only 3w and 1.5 amps where as these are 10w and 1 amp the cree leds a better by far less power consumption and more light

only reason i with these is because i dont need much spread so i only needed 2 wish i had a par meter :(

Very nice, looks great, have you tried the local reef clubs to see if they have a PAR meter?

Nice set up, I like the 1watt leds for small tanks I have a guy on ebay who will give a discount on 1 watt leds and drivers if you buy them together and he probably has any color and temp you want. I know he has 6500k and 14000k white leds I am setting up a 5.5 with leds I got from him and it is going to be a sexy shrimp tank with zoas =]

yeah i can see somebody using 1 watt leds if they needed more spread just because u would need more leds but the wattage doesnt really matter its the amperage

the watts are related to the amps like the 1 watts are up to .35 amps and the 3 wats are good up to 1 amp so the higher the watts the higher the amps everything works on this principle.
