new light and BAM bubble algae

    after watching the video GT posted is it just air bubbles from my HOB filter? my water level is low so its airating the water alot but its weird i dont know

    is that your tank ? if so that is not bubble algae thats some ditoms with air bubbles traped in it you have some GHA i canot think of tha algae thats on the glass but if you scrape it . it will seem like dust .. check phosphates ro/di ? if so check tds .. what dose your CuC consist of

    right now i have somwhere around 13-14 blue leg hermits a scarlet hermit and 2 snails im not sure which kinds. oh and i have astrea stars too somwhere around 10-15. rodi water is being used now but distilled was used up until 3 months ago

    defanately need more of a CuC other than that tank looks cool i underestimated a good crue i couldent beleve the diffrence . i would send reefcleaners an email about a costom crue becose you have some of what you need i got a crue friday and tank is looking alot better already but im going to add a gfo reactor next week than thats it till after christmas lol

    I was lucky...I bought a Yellow tailed Blue Tang and it decided it liked BA.....I have a few under a rock i can't get to....it is not growing and i am not about to break down the tank for that.....I also had some have coraline grow over some
