I believe I seen 6x54w t5h0 fixtures around 13" widths.. just have to check out the dimension specs when shopping around, before buying.. 6 bulbs would be great for your 55gal..

Please don't take this as harsh...

anemones are incredibly sensitive creatures and very difficult to successfully take care of.

IMO, as gently as I can, if you have to ask, you have done no where near enough research on them. Please do research this and learn about them. They are not impossible to keep, but they are not beginner level organisms... despite what many an LFS will push.

I don't want to push you away from them; I only mean to say that an anemone should be a goal for you down the road... (they really need an established system - a year old + as a rule of thumb)

As far as dire consequences, they can secrete toxins that will literally wipe out your tank. Often it's when they die (but they die from the inside out, so you can't tell).

There are several examples of this not happening... or at least not have happened yet.

Their sting is potent and can kill coral. They will move from time to time and sting everything in their path. If you plan on keeping other corals... you may have to make some emergency rearrangements ;)

Please read up here on 3reef. There is a ton of info available.

I would go with a 6 bulb fixture, I currently use the Tek 6x54w T5 on my 55. The actually bulb space fits perfectly on the 55, but the overall fixture over hangs by about an inch on either side. I have mine hung and it look very sharp and the over hang isn't really noticeable.

I have a 45 degree angle 18-24 foot (rough guess) high ceiling over my tank... I've often thought about climbing up there and mounting some slick cables and hanging the light w/some sort of pulley to raise it out of my way...

I do think hanging lights are super sharp.
