new light question

    hey peeps-

    i was wondering if there are any benefits to getting a 6 light t5 unit instead of a 4 light for my 55g ... 48 long 12 wide 18 deep (think thats standard)?
    will 6 lights be overkill? i was looking at the AquaticLife t5 ho units.

    What is your stocking goal? LPS softies 4 bulbs is fine. If your talking SPS/clams then yes youll want more bulbs.

    i have all LPS now.....but some clams would be cool too! so if its not overkill then mybe ill get the 6 ....thanx for the reply
