Well I've been contemplating on upgrading my T5 fixture which is a Current Nova Extreme Pro 6 x 54watt 48" fixture. I've had pretty good success with that fixture, nice coral growth and pretty decent color on the coral. I've been shopping around and was going between two fixtures the Tek Light Elite 6 x 54 watt or the ATI SunPower 6 x54 watt. Well I made my decision today and drove down to ReefGeek and picked it up. This is what I went with. ;D

So far after unpacking it, it seems very durable and well put together. Next step is hanging and I will post some pics of that too!!

Old fixture I was running 7 inches above the tank.

Heres the ATI 18 inches up.

Thanks John, the tank is quite a bit brighter, my old fixture was about 7 inches above the tank and the new fixture is 18 inches above the tank and I think the ATI at that level is brighter then the old fixture. I'm planning on moving the new ATI fixture down about an inch in two weeks and an inch every week until I hit about 12 inches and I will probably keep it at that height. Some of my fish are freaking out because of how bright the new fixture is, my 6 line wrasse was actually looking all pale and not swimming all weird, hope he doesn't stress out too much and kick the bucket.
