I've been running my li'l reef tank (20H) for 2 year or so now with power compact lights. First 50/50's and 10K's for the past year. Now that I've got some change put away I'm thinking about upgrading my lights. I'm not sure if I should:
    1) be happy with what I have (10K PC's).
    2) use a different PC bulb.
    3) invest in T5's.

I don't think metal halides are at all necessary right now for my small tank of soft corals. That and I don't think the electrical system in my apartment could handle much more nor do I want to muck up the nice looking canopy I have going.

Many thanks in advance for your input.........

I'm personally a huge fan of T5's but in all reality if your only keeping softies in a 20h then PC's really do all you need them to do as long as you change your bulbs on schedule.

Do you have a preferred flavor of PC's? I've used both 50/50's and 10K's. I can't decide which is best...are there other options?
