    No way will that ever come to market as a cheaper source of energy the power suppliers would loose money.. :)

    It might hit the market, however the price of the bulb would be that in which the conventional bulbs use in electricity in a life time.

    Why don't we just strap a bunch of solar panels to our houses with a bunch of rechargeable batteries in the basement.
