    haha oh, my wife loves this hobby! She gets so pumped to see things growing. When our nano was a few months old, we came home one night and I turned on the living room light and looked into the tank. There were hundreds of pods running all over the place in the tank. A little shocked at this, (because we knew nothing about saltwater tanks) I went up to my wife and said, "there are hundreds of these liitle things running around the tank...I think I'm going to through it all, tank, water, rocks, everything outside." Haha how dumb my thinking was because I was a little freaked out.

    Well, I didn't get rid of the tank and it became one of the most beautiful 10 gal mixed reef I've seen and it thrived for 4 years.

    I was about to make a thread because I have the same little brown tubes. I added a MH light a few days back and they have been changing daily since then.

    They are looking like this currently:

    ok, I saw the remaining posts and saw that I was WAYYY off, so looked again. I do need to get those trifocals soon - did you all know that there really is such a thing? lol Could these possibly be bleached majanos?

    I asked my LFS and was told it was AIPTASIA. I really hope not:(

    Some of mine also are getting a brown dot, right at the tip like where they're opening up. I looks like they are opening up a day or 2 after the brown dot appears. I could be wrong though

    They definitely don't look like aiptasia but I don't know that I'd trust me :)
