    depends on if you have anything in ur tank or not...and if the rock is cured or not...if its cured it should be fine, if its not cured u'll have to cure it if you have an established aquarium...if your aquarium is new it will be fine to just add it and let it help cycle ur tank while it cures

    it is about a year old tank i have live rock now and the only place to get any sw stuff close to my house is petco and thay will tell you what ever thay want so i dont know for sure how to tell if its cured or not

    Yikes...Petco.. I'd just order it offline..lol There are people on here that can tell you a good place to buy it offiline..i'm sure of it

    yea i just read somthing to told someone about reefcleaners.org and orderd some rock way cheeper and not from petco lol

    yes, dont get your rock from petco. i work there and it is not good rock and no its not cured. i am a grooming salon manager but i love fish way more.

    yea i just got some rock the other day from reefcleaners vary cool stuff i did start my tank with some lr from petco and now it looks vary good but all the stuff they have not it covered in a brown slime thats why i got the dry rock and way cheeper thanks for all the help 3reef rocks
