In my tank i had a snowflake moray, an algea blenny, a maroon clown and a sebae nem. I transfered the snowflake and the blenny to my larger seventy five gal, and traded my sebae nem for a rose tip and a peppermint shrimp. So now its just my maroon clown and the rose tip with a shrimp in my nano. I also have some soft corals in there...
The rose tip is acting pretty strange. He has moved every single day this week. Yesterday i couldn't even see him, he had crawled into a cave in my LR, and this morning when i woke up he had crept out a bit. I thought these things needed light to survive? Why is he crawling into this dark place. My maroon almost immediately took to the rose tip, and he guards whatever area he resides in.
After i added the shrimp he went directly for the LR and i havnt seen him since then. Its been 2 days.
Does anybody have any insight for caring for these nems and shrimp?

I believe that peppermint shrimp are nocturnal so you probably won't see it much during the day. If you have moonlights you should see it out and about at night. Don't know much about bubble nems.

It's moving because of stress. Whether it's your water quality, light, or something else.

Please provide water parameters, lighting, how long the tank is set up, what size tank.

    Pics help too.

Just let the nem do it's thing I promise. Unless ur params are crap. Then it will be fine. Or if u don't have enough light. He's gonna search all the area he can till he gods the perfect spot. He might even move all the way on other side of the tank and come back to the other and secure. just let it settle in. If it's starting to try and float. Ur params may be a little off
