    he moved to the back right corner of the tank. so not very far. he seems to like it there.

    In case you haven't heard my other reply, the blue color is most likely due to dyed water the store you bought it from being injected into it. I have seen it for myself, they will use food coloring in their water and force blow the dyed water into the mouths of the anemones to give them a pretty color, and/or to hide bleaching.
    Make sure you feed the little guy small pieces of krill and silversides everyday to help it repopulate its zooxanthellae colony in the tissues and to help expel the coloring. As long as your lighting is strong enough, along with the feeding, he should make a good recovery.
