    Well that is actually a decent sized tank and sump. The footprint is a little on the small side, but if the tank was well established it could still work. How long has the tank been running for?

    I thought so as well. After he acclimated he started to go to work eating, saw him catch a pod so I hope he fattens up quickly.

    6 months. Which I know is on the young side, parameters have been very stable, and algae has been under control. Have about 60lbs of LR in display

    Oh no i think i made a mistake buying one of these little dudes. I did my research and said hey i like a challenge, but i had no idea they where this much work. my tank is only 3 months old and it is a 40 gal hexagon tank. I have had mine for a day and it wont eat anything i put in the tank. I am going to the lfs today to see if they have something it will eat but if i have no luck i am just going to have to net him and trade him back :( i dont want to kill this fish

    They eat copepods, that's why he's not eating anything you feed him. Very few will eat prepared foods outside of the ones ORA sells, and even they are hit or miss.
