Just wanted to say hi to everyone as I just joined this forum and almost done setting up my new tank.
A few things right off the back....first is the noisy slurping internal overflow box. I've installed a DIY top Durso Pipe fitting per my LFS, however I still have quite a bit of slurping noise. I have one larger hole on top of the cap and a few smaller ones around it, also by the T section. Will installing a ball valve to tune down the water flow help in this?
Another problem is the constant vibration/noisy Magnum 9.5 return pump and Vertex IN 180 pump which is driving me insane. They are both placed in my sump. What are good safe pads to put underneathe the pumps and where can I get them?
    Thanks!

    Welcome to 3 reef !.
As for the ball valve, I had to do that...do whatever to make it work imo.
They sell suction stand/mounts that would or should retro fit to any pump I do believe...and thats another "make it work" scenario. : )
