    hi there everyone,
im new to the hobby, got interested, read up about stuff and here i am a few weeks later with my tank setup and cycling in my room. ive posted some pics of my setup but heres a little bit of info (as much as i know) its a 2 foot cube(around 220 litres) on stand with hood, lighting in the hood is two T5 bulbs, one blue one white, i have to powerheads (cant remember output) gravity fed overflow in the centre on the back of my tank, leading down to around a 40 litre sump(i think) with noodles and that black filter media sponge or whatever it is and than cant remember the output of my pump and obviously the thermometre is in the sump. All seems to running well so far.. i have aragonite sand, tank was setup a week ago with 20kgs of live rock, just added another 20kgs moments before taking these photos which is why its all stirred up.
umm cant think of anythin else to add at the moment, just wondering if you guys have any suggestions or comments about my system and live rock placement, etc, etc..any helpful criticism or advice...

    thanks

I like the rock! Is the picture crooked or is the tank mounted on the wall?
Welcome to the reef welcome to the hobby. I do not understand litres or kgs
    but the rock look's good.

Well by my rough conversion it's about 55 gallon DT and 10 gallon sump.. Something along those lines. The tank is on a stand and the whole setup is about 3-4 inches away from the wall for cables and stuff.
Yeah I wasn't sure if the live rock was positioned very well but I don't know much. I'm growing to like it I think

    WELCOME!

i think he held the camera sideways when he took the pictures.... possibly. if not, then gravity works weird in your room.
