well now you have entered the "awesome" side of aquariums, you mine as well go, get a good light fixture, get some test kits for Mg, Ca and alk and start thinking about what corals you want. You have a really nice sized tank and looks good so far. I started out saying my tank would only be FOWLR too, and then you say to yourself, Im already this far and have invested this much, why not just go for it all. And why not? (rhetorical question) Welcome!

Welcome to 3reef. Yeah, those K-2s will help quite a bit, but I would consider getting more later on when you have money saved up. You could easily include two Koralia-3s and still not be overdoing it. A few questions....

    Do you have a sump?
Do you plan on having corals in the future?
Do you plan on having corals in the future?

Oh, and do you plan on having corals in the future.....;D. If you do, get ready to spend some money. We'll happily guide you through it!!!!

    Later dude.......John.;D;D

Yeah i'll look into maybe a couple of 3's in the next few weeks thanks for your input. As of right now i do not currently have a sump, any ideas on what i should consider getting. For the corals, no... As of right now haha. I cant deny in the future i wouldn't want corals, what are your experiences are they that hard to keep? Like i said this is my first tank so i decided to skip the corals. Ill have to save up some money on the side to invest on it and you can surely be ready for questions when I decide to go for it.

Just got my two k-2's and installed them into the tank relatively quick other then the unfortunate few minutes trying to pry the magnets apart because I somehow got them stuck haha. They are a nice addition but I would probably like a little more circulation so The 3's will most likely be next on the list.
