On Saturday I bought 2 Ocellaris clowns from my LFS. The first 2 days they both eat and swam together. On Monday 1 of them started staying in the corner all the time and stopped eating. He is still alive 3 days later but I fear he will not last much longer. There are no visible issues on him and all the other fish are very active and happy. I fear he will not make it much longer without eating does anyone have any suggestions to get him to eat? The Water Parms are good. Also the other Clown stays with him when the lights are off and he also seems more active with the lights off.

When I got my clown, he wouldn't eat most of the foods I offered. The first time I fed, he grabbed a bit of the flake and spit it out, but I didn't notice. He wouldn't try the food again afterwords.

He eventually got used to the frozen food cocktail I fed everything else and would eat that, but didn't eat for about a week.

my male perc would do that, just 'rest' at the top corner of the tank, ignore any food that went past him, he's fine now, just wait for him to starve and he'll start eating anything you throw at him :)

Well you are all making me feel better I guess I will have to wait and see. It is the smaller of the 2, they are not a mated pair yet as I picked them from tank full but I can see him becoming the male if he makes it. I will keep trying a variety of foods and let you know.

Update, today is 1 week and this morning he was swimming in the front of the tank with his buddy and I saw him eat for the first time in 5 days. I guess that is a good sign. I think that the other clown is bullying him a little so that could have something to do with his behavior. They stay close to each other but one is definitely boss.
