I have the same fixture on my 75g, I change the bulbs annually which can be a pain. I have almost everything in my tank with good growth!

I have 2 of those Odyssea fixtures but 24". I'm using one on my 20g tall now but will be using both on my 75g I'm setting up soon. Been very happy with it in the couple years I've had it running. Time for a bulb change though. Anybody know of good bulbs to replace the stock ones with?

I have a 24" 380watt Odyssea MH system and ive had no problems with it. (250watt MH x2 65watt actinic) Had it set up for about 5 months now I ordered mine from aquatraders. I replaced the stock bulbs with Phoenix 14k bulb and 2 current pc actinic before I set it up.

The fan on mine isent to loud you cant pick it out once everything is running so thats good enough for me...

You do get what you pay for tho the legs are really crappy but aquatraders sells a hanging kit for these lights for like $16 I might try out. I also had to replace all the hardware it started rusting after 3 months but I can defiantly see the growth in my corals and you cant beat the price

Silent. You dont even know its there. It does a great job at keeping the fixture cool.

The old fixture you had..what where the specs on that? Looks like the same design as my aquaticlife t5 fixture.

My old one was a coralife 4X 65W pc fixture. 2 10k and 2 actinics. I'm happy I waited to order this light because the new T5's make a world of difference. I would buy corals and experience loss of color. I am trying to get a better camera for taking good pictures of my current corals. In the 48 hours i have had it setup my plate corals returned to a florescent yellow and my frog spawn is huge.

I have 3 and they all work perfectly! Believe me, I have no problems spending money on the hobby. I'm just not going waste it on items that are the same equivalency at twice the price for a "brand name." If I do decide to swap out the T5's for Halides, you can bet I'll be running the Odyssey fixture.

i've been running the odyssea 150 watt with t5 pendents for about a year and a half with nothing but praise. $200 for the two can't be beat. my 55 gallon has never looked as good.

IMHO, Odyssea has really raised their standards. Apart from not being UL listed, their fixtures are great bang for your buck. I have multiple tanks with Odyssea fixtures and I don't have any complaints. The only ting I don't like is that their PC actinics add a greenish tint to the water.
Their fixtures IMO are by far the most cost effective fixtures on the market.
I own about 6 Odyssea fixtures, and the only mishap I had with them was a faulty ballast and timer on their 48'" T5 fixture and they sent replacement parts for me as soon as I told them it was not functioning as it should even though I live out of the US.
Don't get me wrong, if I had the money, I'd go with better brands and I would love to have an ATI T5 fixture but in reality, I probably wont ever own one lol;)
You got urself a nice fixture there but the 15K bulbs may be a bit too blue for me.
