I got one of these off of Ebay. I had a little trouble figuring out the airline and where it goes, but I stuck it right in the middle nipple of the intake. I placed this in my sump.

    2 problems and a question:

    1. How can I stop the little bubble from blowing into my tank? I did use the spongelike round thing on the end of the discharge, and it does fall a little below the waterline in the sump, is there another way to avoid this?

    2. I have had to adjust this many many times already (the flow).. I am assuming I should watch for bubble to reach about the middle of the inner circle of the cup? or am I wrong? When should I see some real action?

    Anyone else have this skimmer?

Never seen this skimmer til your post, found one
on ebay for .99 cents. you get what you pay for,BUT for .99 id keep messing w it to get it to work.
Most skimmers need to "break in" befor you see any results

Well.. I dont think they actually go for 99 cents, I think I paid 50 or 60 for mine. I have no problem dumping it... I was reading about the Urchin.. are they good?
