I got an ora blue mandarin from saltwaterfish.com on friday. He's colored up and become acclimated since then and I took some pictures to share. First the answers to obvious questions-I have 70+ lbs of live rocks, 15 of which are rubble stacked into 2 pod piles. I have seeded my tank with Biminiensis Tisbe and have a large, reproducing population, as well as some amphipods. The mandarin is pod hunting for most of its food but of course since its an ora captive bred it will accept frozen food as well.

Great looking Mandarin. I have had success with New Life Spectrum .5mm pellets for my ORA Mandarin. Good luck with yours!

Thanks for the complement and the advice. The problem will be obtaining the foods ORA mandarins like where i live. I haven't seen anywhere that carries spectrum, ova, pe mysis, and i don't think theres even any frozen cyclopeeze. I'll find something eventually though.

If you can order a fish online, why can't you order the food?
