I have had mine now for 6 weeks so something is getting eaten. I usually shot gun it, mysis, brine, heart worms and Nutra Mar Ova delivered by a long syringe. Sort of intensive but I definitely do not want to lose him. [IMG]

Ive been doing a brine/mini mysis mix since he wasnt responding to fish eggs (reef caviar) or cyclopeeze. Also tried soaking food in selcon, no joy. Hopefully hes getting a little nutrition from it, cause ive been over feeding the crap out of the tank.

Try ova, that's what they feed them in the first place IIRC.

Looks like brine are the ticket! 5 more brine shrimp down. Just gotta get him to go for the mysis now. Excellent.

Nice looking male you have there ..

Good to hear he's eatting too .. to "switch" foods try mixing the two together for a bit.

Mine takes blood worms like Lady and the Tramp do spaggetti.. Loves Cyclopese and NLS marine (small) pellets.

So would one of the Mandarin Goby's be possible to house in my 29g Biocube? The only other fish I have right now are an Occy clown and a Hi-fin Red Banded Goby/Red banded Pistol Shrimp.

I'm wanting to add a Yellow Clown Goby and also a Blue Mandarin

The clown and mandarin will compete for pods.

I understand that, but the clown is sluggish and relies more on Daddy to feed him his flakes or my cocktail phyto/zoo blends.

My question is though if I am feeding my Mandarin what I want him to eat, who cares about pods. I would rely more on my own feeding than the tank feeding itself
