I just inherited a pair of very young White Stripe Maroons (Spine Cheek) ;D
I have them in a separate tank for now but would LOVE to put them in my DT.
    I have a Yellow Watchman & a Dragonet (Scooter) & a pair of Ocellaris' in a 47g.
Can I put the Maroons in the DT & move my Ocellaris' to the smaller tank (for the kids room) ???
Will the Maroons go after anything in my DT? How aggressive are they?
Everything else in there is CUC.

These can be very aggressive but think your Scooter and Watchman should be fine with them. Now there are two possible outcomes to adding them to the same tank.1-They pair up 2-They fight with one killing the other. Keep in mind also any future adds may be attacked depending on the species.;)

My only fish I will be wanting to add will be a Mandarin :)
Should I get him first??? BEFORE trading homes?
The pair are buddies right now - does that mean I'm safe or do they change their mind later when the "teen stage" kicks in?

AND - do Maroons tend to stay toward the bottom layer? These 2 aren't leaving the bottom corner - (of course I need to be patient for the adjustment time... blah blah blah ...SIGH) lol

    I'm not mixing the clownfish!
If I move the Maroons to the DT I am putting the Ocell's in the smaller tank as I described.
I'm just wondering about the other tankmates!

I had a mated ocellaris pair for years, and now a gold stripe maroon pair. In all honesty my ocellaris were more aggressive than my maroons. I couldn't even put my hand in the tank with the fasle percs, they would immediately attack, even drawing blood a few times.
That being said, you should be fine with everything as long as the two species of clowns aren't housed together. They shouldn't bother anyone. You could add the mandarin after the maroons, it will be fine. Most all fish will leave a mandarin alone, as they are poisonous.

IMO, all fish have different personalities just like people. For example, people say that yellow tail damsels are very aggressive. That is not the case for me at all. My damsel is best friends with my other fish lol.
