My LFS had this powder blue tang for 19.99 Hes a clearance fishy!

I have never seen them this cheap, and they are my absolute FAVORITE fish!

I did lose one a few months ago to brooklynella, and had sworn off spending another $100 on a hard to keep fish although mine ate fine for weeks before the brook,

Well this guy has been at the LFS for a while sticker says they have had him since june, so I know he can at least somewhat live in a tank, even though they had him in a very small tank for his size

my main concern is getting him to eat, my other one ate perfect right off the bat, this one will only eat live since thats all they were feeding him, and some nori. Its only day one so I guess thats a good sign

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated, he seems to be doing quite well and I moved the rocks around a bit to avoid aggression between him and the yellow Him and the yellow are the only 2 in the tank at the moment so they have plenty of space

honestly, most tangs are good eaters. soak some nori in garlic if it is reluctant to eat anything. keep the lights off for a few days. correct me if im wrong but I thought brooklynella was only in clownfish. the yellow will show agression. keeps the lights off for 48 hours or so. that will go along way to helping that PBT acclimate.

From what I understand brooklynella can affect almost anything, mine had the classic symptoms, I did hypo but it was too late for him

Lights are off, and Ill have to try soaking the nori

I read something awhile ago about feeding brocolli, is this something anyone does?

I picked up some graciliaria as well
