New peep!

Hello, my name is Trevin and I live in Washington! I have a 50 gallon young reef! I started a couple years ago with a 10 gallon nano, then moved to a 29 gallon, and now a couple months ago moved to the 50 gallon.

I am getting a sea hair tomorrow to get rid of that hair algea! And a protein skimmer finally!
What do you think? Any suggestions or anthything is much appreciated!! Thank you!

Nice setup and yeah you need to get rid of that hair algae And a skimmer will be a great addition to.

Give us more details about your tank. Equipment, lights (you seem to be running 2 different colored bulbs in the first pic), water params, etc.

Nice tank. The skimmer will make a huge difference. Anyone who has read my posts is probably ready for me to say this,"look into a refugium." Also, a sea hare is nice for a while, but they do die. Get a yellow tang instead. Mine LOVES hair algae and it will live after the algae is gone. Keep us posted on the progress.
