So I bought a used Current Sunpod over a month ago and I finally got the corals acclimated by starting the lights at 4 hours a day then moving it up an hour each week. I have been staying steady at 6.5 hours a day. Now I just ordered new phoenix 250W 14k bulbs and they should be here tomorrow. Should I move it back down to 4 hours a day and do the same acclimation process. I'm not sure how old the other bulbs were, the guy said they were less than 6 months old but who really knows. I can't wait to get the new bulbs in!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes always better to take the time to acclimate than have to deal with bleached corals or worse.

Congratulations on the new bulb, it is going to be very blue initially. The maker of this bulb states it takes roughly 100 hours of burn time to reach it's stable color.

Great choice. By far my favorite 250 watt DE bulb!

I'm excited, hoping they look better then the stock bulbs. Also I ended up picking them up on amazon because I'm obsessed with amazon and their prime membership. I get everything with 2 day shipping for free. I ordered last night and they will be here tomorrow. They were only 53.99 each and free 2 day shipping, can't beat that.

Im running them at 4.5 hours for a week and then I'm going to bump it up 30 minutes every 5 days or so. If I had them hung I was going to just raise them and lower them every few days but I cant hang the lights with the apartment ceiling im in now.
