Bonsai reef! Honestly I'm going to have to trim my corals back often to keep them from fighting.

Ok some more updating... I had a few deaths :/

My percula got sick and idk why. It became pale and started swimming like upside down and then just died. No one else seemed to be affected...strange. So I got my lonely clown a new buddy and they are happy. Also the little damsel I had died as well. It was evil (not surprising) so I caught him to transfer to the soon to be (hopefully) mantis tank. I swear he had a heart attack. Even though he was evil I felt bad.

Since the last post I have added some more corals and moved things around. I got a really nice blue mini maxi as well.

I splurged today and ordered 7 sexy shrimp, 2 harlequin shrimp (and their food cc), a cute hi-fin red banded goby and tons of dry goods. I wanted some dusk/dawn as well as supplemental coloration so I got a truelumen pro 453nm. Also I had some chaeto in the sump in back and it died. I think it was because I had a cheap LED. S I ordered the light that is supposed to go on back. Got some new chaeto as well from blackraven! 350 dollars later...

I seem to have some coral being either eaten at the base or some STN. It is whire and bare at the base with irritated polyps next to that. The rest of the coral is perfectly happy. I think though that it is the sexy shrimp. I have never had this issue until I put them in. Anyone else have this problem?

    Bummer,

I did not have that issue when I had sexy shrimp, they were much more interested in the soft corals and anemones. Nothing would surprise me though when it comes to shrimp and crabs.

Which corals is starting to show the STN, and what is the flow like around the base?
