Well it appears to be just two birdsnests. Both in the lower level of the tank where the sexys trot often. I feel there is more flow near those corals than any others. I noticed that on the larger bird of paradise the STN is at the base and on the side that Isnt exposed to much light. The other side is fine though. SO IDK if its the sexys or what. checked all my params last night and they were better than before.
    Alk 10
    Calcium 420
trates, trites, amo, and phos all are zero
    salinity is 1.026
pH always seems to be about 8.0
uh temp is stable between 80-82

So I dont know. The only thing that changed was adding the sexys. I have seen them pick but they just check it out then leave. They are all over the place but usually just by the mini-maxi. You can see it on the pic on the last pic of the first pics i posted yesterday and the middle pic of the three posted seperately. Will it heal?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Honestly I have always had pretty bad luck with BN, they hate me and my tanks for some reason. Gave up even trying them the last couple years. The BN always go the way of STN for me.

In my experience with sps even if the lighting is not direct or intense to one area of the coral it does not cause STN.

    Are you dosing anything?

Might want to start a thread specifically addressing the issue and see what others say.

Alright Corailline. The thread is up. I do dose. Kalk in the night and the brightwell two part like every other day (cuz the kalk doesnt keep up). I also feed coral frenzy maybe every other night. Thats about it I think.

If that is the case than I would look for swings in parameters such as alk, while the pH is relative I would also look for swings, the difference between the am value right before the lights go on and the pm values right after the lights go off. A magnesium level as well.

Still really haven't identified the cause but it appears to have stopped. It happened over night then just stopped. Hmm

Anyways I think for my last sps I want some kind of mille. Maybe a rose. I love their PE. I just can't find anything around here lol
