That purple looks great. I had a question about your circulation. I see that you have a fan setup pointing from the back to the front of the tank. How does that work for the circulation? I assume that the flow bounces off the front of the tank and splits in two different currents.

Looks really blue, that just the phone camera? I am either getting 1 of these fixtures or the 72 W cree. Not sure though. It would be for my 40 breeder.

Yea I would only need 1 of these fixtures. It looks pretty bulky ( i may consider to not use a canopy eventually.) But it looks like a great bang for the buck. I saw someones tanks with the 72W Crees though and they color was AMAZING. I am wondering if the color is generally better with the Crees over the Bridgelux. I was told by reefbreeders that a 72 W fixture wont be very strong for my 40 breeder. However... i probably wont ever go into SPS. Just softies and a few lps.

    What you all think?

they say the only difference in the Cree's is the power bill is just a hair cheaper they burn just a little less power they told me with this light you can keep anything;D

I am not too worried about the power bill. Plus I guess 96W would be better than 72W. I was always informed that Crees are far stronger than each bridgelux. I actually was running a DIY bridgelux fixture (from Aquastyle online). But i want more colors and a real professional fixture. I am going to modify my DIY old fixture for a planted freshwater tank ;D.

So what you all think, the 72W Cree or the 96W bridgelux? I do like the fact it is a very nice professional setup with 4 clusters of multi colored LED's.
