oh im so horrible haha seriously next week though drivers ed this week always worn out after its worse then school and they wont let me sleep.

im basically surviving threw it on large amounts of monster/redbull

 

well lucky for u, law has it were u haveto be 16 now to get your permit for some reason its stupid.

Drivers ed is blah though

 

We have to be 16, take the written test, and have 6 hours in a car with an instructor to get a permit. You HAVE to go with an instructor for 6 hours, and they HAVE to go with you to get the permit, so you have to pay a bunch for that time. Without doing this, you can't get a permit until 17, which delays the whole thing, as you'll see.

Then you have to wait until you're 17, AND until you've had the permit for 6+ months (meaning if you get your permit at 9 months in to 16, you need to wait until 3 months into 17 to go on; if you don't get the permit until you're 17, you still have to wait 6+ months), to get a GDL, which is a limited license - only 1 other person under 21 in the car, have to have special tags on your license plates, can't drive between like midnight and 6, and some other restrictions.

And you can't get the full license until you're 18 anyway.

You're both lucky you don't live in Jersey.

 

dude that sucks so bad I jus had to take an easy test then they gave me my learners and were like ok go drive haha

then just have to take driver ed and drive atleast 40 hours to get license. plus driving test. So im taking drivers ed now to get it over with

Wow that sounds messed up guys. Here, You get your permit at 15yrs & 6 months. You go to the DMV & take a multiple choice test(30 Q;s I think it was?) then you get the drivers permit. Teens can get their licenses at 16 yrs(I was lazy, Just got my permit a fe months ago. lol) After 50hrs of driving(no one actually has 50 hrs, my friend's parents just say they have their 50, since that would take forever.) Then you have 8 hrs driving with the instructor & have the maneuverability test. There you go, now you can legally drive a car by yourself.

 

Sollie, it's kind of similar here. We have to have more practice hours with an adult first though. You can take divers ed as soon as you get your permit, I just chose not to, as I don't have driving experience yet. lol

 

haha thanks still have like 3 more days though ;D now imagine how much monster and redbull I will have drank by the end of the week haha

 

yeah I just got my permit like a week ago I was lazy on getting it to I could have gotten it on my b day if I had wanted too. still didnt study just took the practice quiz till I got a 100 percent. On the real test I got a 90% ill get my real lincense a year and 1 day after I got my permit if I pass the driving test not worried about it though. Im a pretty good driver.
