Wow! Looks awesome for what I would consider to be a relatively "new" tank! Glad to see that you were able to bounce back!

    Awesome Monty.

I used to have those frilly mushrooms - they can get quite large. Are they growing fast?

So, what's your secret for that lush purple corraline? Really nice!

Hi Matt - I started out with 1 mushroom about 4 months ago- it reached about 7 inches in size and then split into 3- and yes they do seem to grow quite fast.
Hello Rickzter, as far as the coraline I was always told it doesn't like intense lighting but I am running roughly 10 watts a gallon and it is growing like crazy I have quite a few rocks that are completely bright purple-some of them have more color than most corals I've seen- I can't say I am doing anything special- I feed my corals, dose with calcium, alk and buffer once a week- weekly water changes- I only add trace elements 1 time per month- it seems the less I fool with my tank the happier it gets-
I hope you enjoyed the pics - I was browsing the photo section of this site today- I really enjoy seeing what everyone is doing with thier tanks.

Thats a awesome tank! I think we all need to get together and make a slide show of the member tanks, have everybody give a couple of pics. I'd be willing to do something like if everybody is interested. Break it down into different styles of tanks and sizes with a brief list of contents. Have it for download or just as a regular slide show.
