I have a question about this guy. First I don't know what happened to that one side. I fed it and then it looked like that. I know they put their feeding tenticles out but havn't quite seen it do this before.
also, I jsut got it last week and it came on this rock and its stem is epoxied to it. the stem looks hideous and im not sure how healthy this coral is, but I was wondering if I could trim the stalk? If so how much can I trim it?

 

Very Nice specimens you got there!!!! As far as the Candy Cane, I am not sure about trimming. I have not had the best of luck with mine. All my other corals look great, but he is really finicky as far as opening up all the way--Good luck and keep up the good work and pics.

 

Awesome specimens. I'm insanely jealous.
