Hi, its been quite awhile since I've been on here. Holidays, back to school fun...you know just been pretty busy.
So I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Anyways, my 75 is completely empty, well fish wise. Its bare bones.
So, even though Im completely broke, I was hoping to get some ideas of what I could possibly put in my tank. I was thinking about doing some chromis, but thats all I have in mind. I obviously need something reef friendly, all my coral are listed in my sig.
So I'm open for ideas. i dont want to do the norm. I like tangs, I've had a yellow and a hippo.

So guys, what should Tonya put in her tank.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im back in school full time and work part time, and I feel like my brain is already completely fried, and its only the 3rd week of class.

    Thanks guys.
    ~Tonya

well, you have a lot you can do. You could get 5 or 7 chromis and have a little school of them, although my experience with them is that they don't really school, usually only when they are scared. Since you don't have any fish, I would suggest a flasher wrasse or fairy wrasse, very colorful, hardy and very peaceful. Or you could go with a lion fish. You probably couldn't keep much more with one, but it would be really cool, wouldn't hurt your corals, but would snack on your crabs and shrimp. A coral beauty angel would be cool too, you should be ok, they are one of the most reef safe angels.

My LFS strongly advises me not to get a coral beauty, Ive always wanted one though. I love lionfish, but i dont think I would like it in this tank. Wrasses are cool, both those you mentioned are pretty sweet.
Thanks for the advice on the chromis.

You could always explore the clownfish. A 75g could hold a maroon clown nicely. Get one small and watch it grow up. They can get to about 7".

+1 on clownfish. Get a pair, they are awesome. How about a yellow tang as well?

i like maroons, I have heard that they were aggressive though.
And the yellow tang. I had one, and I loved the lil fella. He brought a lot of color to my tank, but I fill like its the standard aquarium fish. Im looking for something maybe not so common, I really dont know. I do fall in love with them everytime i go to the LFS. As much as I don't want one, I have a feeling that I will end up with one. I do love purple tangs. Their hard to come by though, and super expensive.

What about sailfin, tomini, or powder tangs? All would be OK in a 75. Also blennies are awesome. Tons of personality

    Shrimp goby/pistol shrimp pair.

Just because I just got a yashia goby/candy stripe pistol and they are awesome. Their coloration is so similar and I love how they live together and how they behave, the shrimp does all the hard grunt work, building tunnels all the time, cleaning up around the burrow entrance etc. The goby just hangs out and keeps an eye out for his buddy, making sure everything's cool. :)
