    So we just brought home a new addition to our tank, a blackspotted (dogface) pufferfish and I couldn't be happier!

    We were a little worried at first because he puffed up and freaked out a little but he's calmed down now and already allows my boyfriend to pet him! It's so cool to see! Just had to share :)

    didn't get a chance to take one in tank yet, we've got the lights off while we're trying to get the other fish we got to adjust. we got some new damsels and the old damsels aren't exactly rolling out the welcome wagon. we've been calling it the jets vs. the sharks ala west side story. here he is kicking it in the bag though.

    he sure is a cutie! i've always liked the Dog Faced, i have the Green Spotted Puffer here's my guy from 2 years ago, he hasnt grown much, i think he will stay small.

    one reason we got ours it just because it will hopefully get real big, haha. need something that the lionfish will definitely not eat, he got at a damsel today...our own fault, we should have thought to feed him before we put the new fish in.


    yours is very cute btw, i like the colors. i think the colors on ours is kind of ugly but he has that face that is so ugly it's kind of cute, hehe.

    oooh you said lionfish. what size tank do you have them both in. i think hes cool. what type of lionfish if you dont mind me asking?

    thats a nice puffer.. my LFS has this one in the not for sale section.. but i thought he was so cool i took a pic.

    he's a black volitan. we have a 125 gallon. he's the one in my profile picture, but i'll post the full size and another one of him in the bucket before we got him in the tank. i'm getting a new camera for christmas so hopefully i'll be able to get some good tank pics soon, these were all taken with my phone. actually i bought the puffer for my boyfriend to make up for the lion eating one of his fish. he's not really aggressive so long as we keep up with his feeding schedule. probably grown an inch and a half since these pictures were taken a month ago.

    i like lionfish. i like that puffer too. how come all the cool fish are too big for my aquarium?? lol your lucky.
